On October 3rd 1993
I fell in love with the most beautiful little baby boy I’d ever seen🥰
Even though I was 19, (inching towards 20 on the 31st), & I was scared to death!
I was a baby myself & I was a Tonka truck girl 😝— Was never one to play with dolls much, so getting a baby so close to my birthday was not the gift I imagined BUT indeed the greatest GIFT that I didn’t even know I needed until that moment 💝

OMG! I’m A Mom!
NO — not just “a mom” —
I AM HIS MOM 🥰

To get to watch him experience every facet of life - from crawling, to walking, to running —AND NOW A U.S. MARINE WHO HAS TRAVELED THE WORLD; seeing places I’ve only dreamed of.... 😌😭😭😭

What a privilege to work with such an immensely talented, ANNOINTED, Loving and caring soul! From the moment I met Ms. @priscillashirer she made me feel like we had known each other for years.
I recall walking onto the hustle and bustle of The @forgemovie set, not knowing a soul. I was scared, exhausted and hot 🤣. I'd driven 3 hours to Albany in my car with no air in nearly 100 degree weather.
After my fitting, I entered the dining area and scanned the room full of unfamiliar faces but one face was smiling so warmly back at me 🥰 Ms. Priscilla waved at me and I think I kind of turned around to make sure she wasn't waving at someone behind me 🤭-- I waved back like "who me?" 🤣🤣🤣
Later we chatted and she was asking questions ABOUT ME...😳... LIKE WHY ⁉️😂
And even though God allowed me to book this blessing, inside I kept feeling like I didn't belong.
She must've felt it and God used her to comfort me, bc without me saying how I felt --and almost on cue she said "You're meant to be here. @thekendrickbrothers are REAL and don't let just anyone on their sets. You belong."
I truly felt seen.
(Later, in my room, while reflecting upon her words, I cried tears of joy. Ms @realkarenabercrombie actually confirmed her words later that day.😘)
EVERYONE ON THAT SET MADE YOU FEEL SEEN! It's the Culture to love like Jesus and work/serve with excellence!
Later I got to show her my little red beetle and she celebrated with me about how God laid it on someone's heart to give it to me 💝
She even said "there's more where that came from!" (Meaning from God.)
I told her maybe one day we'll take a ride with the top down 🥳
Unfortunately little bug was in a big wreck😕 so we'll have to postpone our ride until God sends me another car 🤗
She was even gracious enough to speak with my Mom over the phone!
MOM REALLY FANNED OUT 😝🤗

Wow it hits me in waves that I am on a REAL MOVIE ON THE BIG SCREEN 🎉
Dearest Father,
This is more than I asked for and I am grateful.

And when I became a Parent 30 years ago, I perpetuated THE BLESSING (instead of a curse) by continuing with telling my Son the same thing -- YOU CAN BE AND DO ANYTHING YOU PUT YOUR HEART & MIND TO!
So he became a MARINE!
